The ISIS Group is dedicated to the concept of linking business and not-for–profit. Our mission consists of two inter-related parts: 1. To operate, with integrity and excellence, a specialised corporate finance and consulting firm. 2. Through The ISIS Foundation, to make a positive difference to the lives of children in the developing world. Through rain, hail, snow, and those very very hot days, we will never stop laughing, and never stop having fun at work. |
Who is The ISIS Group?
The concept behind The ISIS Group is an unusual one. The ISIS Group is a niche, very active business that was set up to fund an active not-for-profit organisation that was established at the same time. As a result the business and the not-for profit organisation are run from the same offices with day to day involvement of the same management teams. What does The ISIS Group do? The founders of The ISIS Group are Audette Exel and Sharon A. Beesley, both structured finance and banking lawyers and bankers by background. The business mix of the ISIS Group reflects that specialty. The ISIS Group is a niche business in the areas of consultancy, fund administration services and corporate finance work. Our client base is largely institutional with a focus on cross border transactions. ISIS has a licence to conduct local business in Bermuda as well as international business, through Bermuda. We are also licensed as insurance brokers in Bermuda and we currently hold an exemption from the provisions of the Bermuda Investment Business Act, as we only deal with sophisticated and wholesale investors. In Australia, ISIS (Asia Pacific) Pty is an authorised representative of Jaguar Advisory Services Pty Ltd, Licence no 225431. We act for a large number of institutions and high net worth clients with work ranging from insurance structuring and brokerage, to cross border finance structures, to fund administration services and the establishment of large offshore investment fund vehicles. We also act as a Placement Agent for a number of international investment managers, and raises capital for their fund offerings from a number of leading Australian institutions and families. The ISIS Group provides crucial administration support to The ISIS Foundation (TIF) and since its inception, The ISIS Group has funded over US$2.5 million in general and administration costs of TIF and raised and put to use on TIF projects a further US$2 million received from external donors. |
