Volunteers
help us out in the following locations, in the following ways:
• Bermuda: via the Kathmandu Kids Club, www.kathmandukidsclub.com, a
fundraising arm of The ISIS Foundation. Contact their Volunteer Manager on jennie@kathmandukidsclub.com
• Nepal: Nepali volunteers work as tutors with The ISIS Children’s
Foundation. Contact our Nepal Country Manager on pralhad@isis.org.np
• Seattle: we have a team of dedicated medical volunteers who (i)
collect medical equipment for use in a NICU and Maternity ward, and (ii)
provide specialist advice on critical patient care via email. If you would
like to join this team, please email Debbie.Lester@isisgroup.org
• Uganda: we support 2-4 medical volunteers to train staff at Kiwoko
Hospital, Uganda, each year. We have a database of Neonatologists, Neonatal
ICU Nurses, Midwives and Obstetricians if you would like to apply for
a position please email Debbie.Lester@isisgroup.org
Are there any conditions to being a volunteer? Only that we need volunteers
to focus entirely on the needs of those we serve our overriding
principle is that we will always do what’s best for the children of Nepal and
Uganda. They are our greatest priority, and their needs dictate the work we
do.
If you are passionate, are a specialist in a particular field, don’t mind
licking stamps or taking ownership of a back-office project, we would love to
hear from you! We need reliability, dedication, energy, and happiness!
